VCL Contractors was founded in 2014 by Thaya with a simple belief: that local homeowners deserve a contractor who shows up, communicates honestly, and takes genuine pride in their craft. Starting from a single ute and a handful of tools, Ben built the business one job at a time — earning repeat clients and word-of-mouth referrals across Lower Hutt and Wellington.

Today, VCL Contractors is a full-service building team offering everything from structural renovations and new decks to interior carpentry, professional painting, and full bathroom remodels. Every project — large or small — receives the same level of care, craftsmanship and communication we built our reputation on.
